here's a clip from a recent stop motion animation i created for an IHG Events conference last month. The process required me to sacrifice a Sunday afternoon (which would have consisted of nothingness) and im glad i did as the results of this experiment where pleasing. Any chance to ditch photoshop and created things by hand always excites me and in alot of cases feels more rewarding.

These pieces evolved from a personal project I've been retouching over the past couple of weeks. When i last moved flat the process of shifting design magazines and books which i hadnt looked at in a while was quite annoying so i decided to utilize this 'resource material' and create pieces of 'art' out of them.. heres a couple of pieces.. hold tight for a couple more uploads soon.

Every now and again i stumble across a photographers work that really humbles me.

to be honest it happens alot and i had that experience again today when i found lou mora's website.

He has some amazing portrait shots and he contrasts the shots beautifully in their compositions.

recently Ive been creating visuals for in house presentations encapsulating the buzz and potential that MECH hopes will be provided from the new Metro office in the Northern Quarter.

very good video produced and directed by digital sneakers who are new to me but i have them bookmarked now!!

This is the way this artist and other urban uk artists should be portrayed and shown in their videos. I dont imagine it was a huge budget but the guys behind the camera knew what they where doin and the finished piece looks slick, well thought out and it oozes uk swagger.

tough thing to pull off but now the scene has something to aim for and better.

I See People - NEW Bashy

I made this video last week.. the concept grew after i visited Manchester's urbis art gallery to see the Emory Douglas Black Panther exhibition.

i was touring the gallery listening to Bashy's latest mixtape Bashy.com and this track "i see people" really stood out.

The video contrasts the artist's lyrics relating to modern Britain and black America's struggle for equal rights.

Love the low budget yet highly creative video.. Jay continues to associate himself with beautiful and creative art more and more.

Congratulations to America and everybody associated with the democrat party. From the outside looking in the better more inspiring campaign and candidate claimed victory.

The fact that Barrack Obama is of African descent is incredibly important to me and a nation of people who can now truly believe, anything is possible regardless of the color of your skin..
